Bauer’s exclusive 3D Skate Lab has gathered thousands of foot scans to help create three distinct fits, covering a wide range of foot types. These scans not only look at foot width but also key factors like foot depth and instep, ensuring you find the perfect skate fit. With these three new fit types and the added benefit of skate baking, skaters can now enjoy a more personalized fit than ever before.

Vapor Hockey Skate Foot Profiles: Fit 1, Fit 2, and Fit 3

Before diving into the performance benefits of Bauer’s new fit system, let’s take a moment to get familiar with the three new fits available for both Vapor and Supreme skates. In the past, players would choose a line like Vapor, Supreme, or Nexus and then pick a width (D or EE). Now, with the introduction of Fit 1, Fit 2, and Fit 3, skaters have even more options to find the perfect match, no matter if they prefer Vapor or Supreme skates. Let’s get to know these new fits!

Bauer Fit 1

Fit 1 is designed for those looking for a low-profile fit, similar to the classic Vapor D width that has been a fan favorite over the years. If you’re used to Vapor skates, Fit 1 will feel just right. It offers a snug fit with a shallow heel pocket, low instep, and a lower overall volume—perfect for those who want the tightest fit around the ankle. Fit 1 is the narrowest of the three fits, available in Bauer Vapor models like the 2X Pro, 2X, and X2.9, as well as in the 2020 Bauer Supreme models such as the Ultrasonic, 3S Pro, and 3S. Bauer Fit 2

Fit 2 offers a mid-profile fit, similar to the Supreme D width. Skaters who have worn Supreme skates in the past will find Fit 2 to be a great match. This fit features a mid-heel pocket, a slightly higher instep, more ankle volume, and a wider forefoot. You can find Fit 2 in Bauer Supreme models like Ultrasonic, 3S Pro, and 3S, as well as in 2019 Bauer Vapor models such as the 2X Pro, 2X, and X2.9. Bauer Fit 3

Fit 3 is designed for players who need the most volume in their skates. While it’s the least common fit based on Bauer’s thousands of scans, it’s essential for those with specific foot shapes. If you’re looking for more room, Fit 3 offers a deep heel pocket, a taller instep, and a wider width—giving you the space you need for ultimate comfort.
